SERVICES
Excavating
At Burkholder's Excavation we specialize in excavating. We use excavators to dig up material and then use front end loaders or dump trucks to move the dirt to another part of the job site or haul it off site to another location. We will excavate small ponds or ditches and use the excess dirt on site or dispose of it depending on the customer's needs.
Grading
Burkholder's Excavating also provides grading services. We use a skidsteer, bulldozer and motor grader to level and grade dirt, gravel, asphalt, crushed concrete or any other type of material our customer may need graded. We use a laser and a surveyor to stake out the grading area in order to grade the material within two hundredths of an inch of the desired grade.
Grading is vitally important when it comes to water drainage. If the land has not been graded correctly, water could end up flowing toward the building causing damage to the cinder blocks, wash away the landscape vegetation, and pose a threat of interior flooding and water damage.
Clearing
If you need trees, brush, or other obstacles removed from a strip of land so you can begin your construction project, we have you covered at Burkholder's Excavating, LLC. We have different types of machinery to clear heavily forested areas and strip away overgrown brush efficiently and safely. Once the material is cleared we can haul it off or in some cases burn on site. Our clearing process will provide you with a blank canvas to begin your project.
